“Mint and Mabel have brought our school walls to life in a way that truly benefits our students,” says Headteacher Georgina Flooks. “Fourteen blank spaces have been transformed into calming, inspiring murals that create an environment where children feel safe, motivated, and ready to learn.

The new Blackbridge Community and Sports Hub in Podsmead, Gloucester, was officially opened on 3rd September 2025 by Her Royal Highness The Princess Royal. Among those in attendance were Gloucester-based artists and designers Mint + Mabel, who worked closely with Blackbridge CCBS to develop the Hub’s visual identity – including its branding, internal murals, signage, and wayfinding graphics.

Mural artists Mint + Mabel have been transforming school walls across Nottingham and the UK. They recently worked with Priory Junior school in Gedling, Nottingham, to design a huge mural that pulls together the history of the local area and all the key values that make up the school.

Gloucester-based mural artists and designers, Mint + Mabel, were asked to design the plaque for HRH The Princess Royal’s official opening of Blackbridge Community and Sports Hub, to match the mural and branding designs the duo created for them earlier in the year.

In 2024, Tredworth High Street had over 60 buildings transformed with colour. Through the hard work of Tash Frootko and her team, High Street Tredworth has become a huge outdoor art gallery showcasing local and international artistic talent including the work of Mint + Mabel.

Whether we’re painting the walls of a primary school, a high street, or a community sports hub, we believe murals have the power to do more than decorate, they uplift, inspire, and bring people together.

Muralists Mint + Mabel have been designing and hand painting murals in primary schools across Nottingham. The artistic duo, Hattie and Erin, have left their mark on the schools by creating engaging and creative murals that transform the classrooms, libraries and hallways.

The mural includes lots of things that are important to the school and the local area of Sneinton, such as Green’s Windmill, the Sneinton dragon sculpture, the diversity within the school and more.
