We worked with Priory Junior school in Gedling, Nottingham, to design a huge mural that represents the history of the local area and all the key values that make up the school. The artwork includes Gedling Colliery, which was known as the 'Pit of Nations' due to the diverse workforce in the coal pits. We also represented the Priory and the monks as an important historical element. The beautiful school entrance is depicted with the lion pride of place (excuse the pun!) under the school's motto of 'We Learn With Pride'. The tree types in the school grounds make up their class names, which we dotted throughout the mural.
